Swollen waters butt
the incoming tide, the race
whirls into black holes.

C J Moore: C J Moore is writer, poet, translator and editor of both adult and children's books. He is the author of the highly successful 'In Other Words', the award winning 'Ishtar and Tammuz', and more recently 'The Queen's English'. He published two volumes of poetry with The Celtic Cross Press, and has written a critically acclaimed verse translation of the Fables of La Fontaine (2006). He spends his time between Scotland, Spain and the Swiss Alps.
